Cooked Rice - 2 cups Vegetable Oil - 2 tbsp Cumin seeds - 1 tsp Chana Dal - 2 tsp Green Chillies(split in halves) - 2 Tomatoes - 1 big Curry leaves - 15-20 leaves Turmeric - 1/2 tsp Hing - a pinch Salt to taste
Preparation:
Heat the oil in a vessel. Add cumin seeds in the vessel. Once they splutter add turmeric, hing, Chana Dal. Once the chana dal turns brown add cinnamon, cloves, and bay leaves. Now, add green chillies, tomatoes and curry leaves. Once the tomatoes are cooked add cooked rice to it. Mix it well and garnish with cilantro.
