Sambar Powder(Huli Pudi)


Coriander seeds(Dhania) -1 cup
Cumin seeds - 1/4 cup
Chana dal - 1/4 cup
Urad dal - 1/2 cup
15-20 red chillis
Cinnamos sticks(Dalchini) - 2-3 sticks
Dry coconut - 1/4 cup

Dry roast all the above ingredients except the dry coconut. Roast coconut separately.( One can even roast cinnamon in a little bit of ghee.This is optional. This will add lot of flavor). Once the mixture gets cooled grind it.
