Shloka: Apte's Sanskrit-English dictionary defines shloka as a stanza or verse in general. Shlokas are usually part of stotras which are prayers to the deities.
Shloka Online is my humble attempt to provide shlokas that we recite everyday. I am including only those shlokas that are easy for the kids to recite and comprehend with rudimentary exposure to Sanskrit. I have included the shlokas in Devanagari script, the same in Roman script and meaning (loosely translated) in English. Some of the shlokas on this site are recited by Madhvas in the daily prayers.
